How do I set up the TL-One to work with cochlear implants?

One option is to plug over-the-ear headphones (not included in packaging) into the side of the TL-One and speech processor.  The second option is only applicable to users of the Nucleus 6, Nucleus 7, or Kanso speech processors manufactured by Cochlear Americans (aka Cochlear Corporation) and will require the purchase of an additional accessory from Cochlear Americas called the MiniMic.

How do I set up the TL-One to work with the MiniMic?

The TL-One comes packaged with a long, male-to-male accessory cord (located in the bag labeled "ThinkLink Mobile Kit") where one end is at a 90 degree angle.  Plug the 90 degree angle portion of the cord into the side of the TL-One.  Insert the other male end of the cord into the 3.5mm audio jack on the MiniMic. Place the TL-One against the patient's skin, and breath or heart sounds will automatically stream via Bluetooth directly to the speech processor.

Is the TL-One Bluetooth Enabled?

The transmitter described in this topic does not connect directly to Bluetooth-enabled hearing aids. Thinklabs One does not have Bluetooth built-in, but it does support the use of a Bluetooth transmitter (available in the Thinklabs store) to connect wirelessly to Bluetooth-enabled headphones, as shown below.
